If I moved to America, which state is the best for me?

I am in love with cold weather. I function so damn well in snowy weather and I love skiing, but I do like warm weather as well. I'd also like a place where I could live in peace with my marijuana plants, without fear of incarceration if I get caught.
So which state or area is the best for me? Because I loving hate Ireland and I want out as soon as I can.

Massachusetts is on the water, cold in the winter, and pretty warm in the summers.  Also, Boston is a pretty cool place (live 7 mins away from it).

well the winters in myrtle beach, south carolina are cold as forget, and its god a hell of a, i'll say Strip, along the actual beach with a stuffload of stores, the Skywheel, some stupid teen club thing, etc.

and Coastal Grande mall is lovey for a southern state
i also highly, highly recommend Raleigh, North Carolina.

I'd love to move back up north, I love the weather up there. I lived in Washington for a while and visited Wisconsin for about a week.

Ohio is the place for cold weather, but we have a pretty warm summer too.

It's not touristy either, and we have a very wide selection of music. You'll certainly have fun going to concerts at the LC Pavilion or the Newport.
