Maine has easy access to Canada, which has a lot of cool stuff in it, too.

I read most of Steven King's stuff and pretty much all of the Lovecraft I could get my hands on. I love macabre stuff.

If you actually feel like moving to the US, try California. It's got that radical weather you speak of and is looser on druggies.

But our economy, politics, and education is so messed up its not even funny.

I live in the mountains in southern California. I'm actually working as a snowboard instructor this season. During the winter, if you want warmer weather, just head down the hill to San Bernardino, part of LA area. Up here it is 60 degrees in the fall and spring, and lovely in the summer. So beautiful, and close to the city if you need it. Also, it's California, pot heaven...there are dispensaries here in the mountains.

What's Ireland like, besides cold and green?
It's rural. Very rural. There are a lot of green fields, occasionally filled with sheep or cows. The old country roads are filled with potholes and you can walk from one end of the country to the other without seeing a single person. It usually wont take more than 4 hours to get to any one place from anywhere in Ireland.

Sorry if I sound a bit arrogant or anything, I just hardly ever hear anything about it. I kind of want to at least visit Europe after I finish college.
I definitely recommend Ireland. It's a really nice place and all, but if you're straight, you're unlucky. There are very very few hot women there. Seriously. I know maybe 3 hot irish girls, tops. If you meet the right people, Ireland can very well be one of the best places in the world.

A lot of my family has roots there, plus all my favorite bands are British. Among other reasons.
British and Irish aren't the same thing. Don't make the same mistake or you will be crucified.
If your second name is irish, you'll definitely find a pub with your name on it.

Also holy stuff 6 or 7 years? You must really hate that place.
I need to finish college and stuff. All the courses I'm looking at are about 4 years, and I still have 1 more year after this before I go into college.

Sure, similar interests are great

Live in a Michigan area like Macomb, where I live. It's nice and calm there.
You live near Bobafet5

Also, Delaware is nice. The winters can be really cold, or not cold at all. But the temperature in the summer can go up to 100-106 easily.
DELAWARE:

I have actually been to all of those exact locations. c:

Stay away from North Carolina. Stay the forget away from the south in general. In fact, just stay away from the U.S.

If you're really going to move anywhere, go to Zurich, Switzerland. I used to live there, and it's a very nice city with close proximity to mountains. I loved it there.
