Please smoothshade it, like on the default jeep's wheel.

you guys sure you want it smoothshaded? lol

... replicate the deault wheel, i am sure it is not all smoothshaded...

i can't just smooth the inner layer and the outer layer of the sides of the tire separately, because then they'll just smooth each other together. i've tried smoothing edges too, it doesn't make any difference.

It looks forgeted up smooth shaded, you should just leave it as is.

select edges > ctrl-e > mark sharp
modifiers > edge split

select edges > ctrl-e > mark sharp
modifiers > edge split
eh

this did achieve the desired effect, but i still like the unsmoothed version better.

doesn't matter if you like it or not, matters if it actually looks like the actual loving tire.

it matters if it looks like stuff.

i never go for complete replication, i always go for a good model.

The majority of the community does not THINK it is a good model, including me, stop being stubborn.

3 people isn't "the majority of the community", and it isn't really enough to convince me

i'll say four because Tophius told me the method of smoothing, so i'll assume he wants it too

even then, i don't think it's really that much of a problem.

however, i will make the tires bigger. i noticed they are a bit small.

Request: some of the original Lego tires.

Make it look like default tire

this did achieve the desired effect
so why not make a version for the guys who want it

lol why didn't i think of this

i'll apply/upload my changes after i stop being lazy and get around to it when i get home today.
