Author Topic: Obama was re elected  (Read 25164 times)

He had a copy of the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and has been one for many years so I believe what he says.
That's a circumstantial ad hominem fallacy. Google the common attributes of communist governments and you'll instantly realize he's wrong.

lol hes a commie poser.

he wasnt legit

lol hes a commie poser.
I'm starting to wonder if the friend he's talking about is Iban.

I love how the original topic went from Obama being re-elected to discussions about the Communist Manifesto.

I'm starting to wonder if the friend he's talking about is Iban.
He did mention roblox once, but he play games like starcraft and remember iban saying he hated starcraft.

I didn't know what you were trying to say, but calling Obama supporters 'socialist pigs' means you're calling Obama a socialist. If that's not what you meant, you need to learn English before you post here.

"I was calling our government". So like the entire government? Even the republican congressmen? I don't understand what you're trying to say, but the U.S. is not a socialist nation.

Aren't all forms of taxation somewhat based on income? If you think Obamacare is trying to create a classless society, then you're leaning more to calling him a communist than a socialist.

By that logic, any republican president who doesn't attempt to abolish progressive taxes is also a socialist. Would you agree with that?
There is no need to be so brash.

These are still socialist ideals that the government has tried to force upon us. Taxation based on income is one of the first ideas behind true Socialism. The people have screamed for a single, flat tax, regardless of income. This is said to aid the GDP more and the economy in general.

Issuing a flat tax is all about fairness.
For example, a middle class citizen making roughly $1000 a month is compared to a 1st class citizen making $100,000 a month. At a flat tax of 0.5%, the middle class citizen pays $5 every month towards taxes, while the 1st class citizen pays $500 towards taxes every month.

But it's a flat tax. Nobody is punished for success or rewarded for laziness. Taxes do not increase based on income increase.

Sadly though, like your popular votes, our voices mean absolutely nothing. The Congress we so willingly elected into office is considering placing socialist ideals into a capitalist society.

Sure, we still have the free market system. But that is outweighed by the fact that if you're rich, the IRS hates you, whereas if you're poor, the IRS will show sympathy.

That is Socialism, friend.
Maybe not full, utter Socialistic take over, but now we know our country is not standing just on the ideas of capitalism, but socialistic ideas as well.

Oh, yes I understand there are those senators who may think like capitalists and completely disagree with it, but just know there's the other group of senators or congressmen who think these ideas are good for our well-being.

i, for one, welcome our new democratic overlord

yey

The world didn't want Romney. The USA doesn't need Romney. Obama was the best of the two, even if they both have problems.

I'd rather it be Gary Johnson, as I am Libertarian, but since our nation's government has so ruthlessly ignored the libertarian parties of old, he hardly showed up on the ballot.

did he get his 5% he wanted? i stopped watching hours ago
he was actually at 3% in many states early in the day but it had to have been washed out by now

A lot of this information is a lot less convincing when you put 'probably' behind it. Show me a stratified sample that shows the majority of Americans favor a flat tax opposed to a progressive tax.

Uh, based on what you just said, yes taxes do increase based on income.

The poor person paid 5 dollars, the rich person paid 500 dollars. Your brown townogy contradicts itself.

If you have a free market system, your government is not a socialism. End of story.

if i loved you before i love you even more now

That's the AMOUNT PAID IN TAXES, not the tax rate.

I actually liked Romney's speech.  I wish we could all be friends in the end :(
