People lost jobs, and gas prices are only rising because we aren't going for an alternative location for oil. I mean, there's plenty of places in the world to collect oil, so why are we getting it from a place that is currently hostile towards America? It's true. The adults are far too stubborn to open up to forward-thinking ideals because of when they were born. Plus, a lot of adults seem to be of the mindset that because they've been alive for forty, fifty years, they know everything and can't be proven wrong. It's why my lifetime aspiration is to be a teacher - all you can do is try to educate the younger generation to make the world a better place for people of all creeds, races, genders, loveualities, and anything else. If we want to move forward, we have to look forward. Not back!
