If smoke deprived you of oxygen shouldn't cigarettes be illegal. Same thing with steam should we ban sources of water vapor? Water vapor doesn't deprive your brain of oxygen. Alcohol actually can kill brain cells if you get alcohol poisoning. If you don't drink enough water alcohol actually replaces some water in your brain causing damage to it.
