i can only use either skype or steam, help me decide

if i try using both skype and steam at once my computer gets mad at me, so i can only use one, but i'm not sure what to do
i rarely use steam for anything other than talking to people, but i know a few people who only use skype and a few who only use steam and asdf
basically: help me decide what to use

steam, you can play games, voice chat, and group chat, with the only downside being you cant multi-voice chat or video chat

Your computer is probably too slow to handle it. If you can only use one, I recommend Skype for communication, assuming that's what you mainly want.

most people use skype to voice chat. you don't voice chat. steam is obvious choice

text chat on skype sucks balls. it's primarily voice orientated.
