The only thing I can't forgive THQ for was what they did to DOW2, it's like they tried to make it like Company of Heros. In DOW1 and Winter Assault you had just just a few important people and you actual had big battles and felt like an RTS. I didn't like it when they turned DOW2 into scifi rpg with small battles with cinamatic elements, also forget that Games for Windows stuff.

What, Square Enix holds the SupCom IP and SupCom2 was garbage compared to the first. Some of the Total Annihilitation fans are still butthurt that they didn't get TA2 instead they got Supcom and I'm excited to see Planetary Annihilation.

it was a bad move but for DoW3 they were reportedly planning on "truly massive scale armies" like true 40k.  they did get rid of GFWL with retribution though, very few developers actually drop GFWL once they have it.
