1. Ship VS ship PVP must be done with ship based cannons not player weapons. That means if you're battling someone you can't just go up with your minigun and tear their ship apart.
2. Don't be an absolute richard. I don't mind if you're killing everyone but if you're going to be a worthless person don't be shocked if you get kicked.
Other than that everything is fine. PVP fine, blasting away people's ships with your own is fine, stealing, etc.
I have been modifying my server item set for ship combat.
NOTICEABLE CHANGES FROM DEFAULT
Uses my custom texture set, nothing that big except for different block looks
Gameplay changes:
Plating now renamed Armor, health increases on ALL armor.
Iron is 10, 25, 50
Aluminum is 50, 75, 100
Titanium is 150, 200, 250 So titanium is VITAL if you don't want to get ripped to shreds in a matter of seconds
Mass of armor is slightly different
Iron armor is 2,3,4
Aluminum 1,1,2
titanium 2,2,3
Amount of iron armor received per bar increased to 8,6,4 as opposed to 6,4,2 so you get more iron even though it SUCKS
Drills now drain power - Not working atm
Cost of cobalt diamonds halved to just 1 cobalt ingot
Cost of Liquid hydrogen halved to 1 water
Gun console no longer requires a cobalt pistol to be created. You can simply swap out a standard console block for gun con
Anti-Frigate cannon cost halved in terms of only requires 1 anti-corvette cannon
Standard Ion Engine now only needs 1 powerful hydrogen engine
Gun control console now has 4 buttons. Why would you need 4 buttons? I HAVE NO IDEA
Standard console now has 10 buttons. Go nuts.
