I would but I don't want to drive myself back towards insanity.

Reminds me of Hobbes or Winne the Pooh, kinda.

Either way this is crazy.

I do make real friends. I just thought that this was an interesting concept, so I brought it up.

Accidental tulpa creation (probably by the placebo effect) is not fun.

I think I accidentally made one in practically a few minutes...

oh good, it's gone now

I don't get it. Are you supposed to actually see it? Because I'm not great at visualization, even in just my mind, but this sounds interesting.

The tutorial link in the OP is broken.

use this site:
http://tulpa.info/
there's a forum and multiple tutorials

Wow, I'm slow. I just realized I've had one of these for a long time, but never really seen him in reality, per se.

EDIT: Never mind, I haven't! I think. I'm rather confused.

...What.

I don't think you know what that word means.

Yeah I just prefer inner monologues and knowing that thoughts are my own. I don't need to imaging someone to tell me what I already know and can figure out. It is a fascinating idea though.

What exactly is the point of them? Are they really just a graduated imaginary friend or is it more?
