My grandfather LOVES these. He took us to a museum full of them once, and gave my father some, which he still has.

I'm not sure what is so much fun about building landscapes just to see toys drive around them, but it is. If only it was an easier hobby...

oh god all of my nostalgia is in model trains
/this

My father gave me all of the model trains/tracks he had as a kid, so it got me interested. I have a 150$ H0 locomotive, I sometimes take it out and mess around.  It's got sound effects, lights, everything :D

Oh my god.
My favorite train is the 6-4-4-6, or S1. It was the largest loco pretty much ever. It was a stuffty train because it had wheel slip problems

I doesn't have model trains,but i have Model Cars!
There are alot of them, and they are based on classic cars
Like the ones from the '30's,or the 50's.

I have a bunch of N scale train stuff that I haven't effed with for a long time. I really want to do something with them again, but I don't have enough flat space in my room that isn't already taken up by LEGO.
Oh, I also have a LEGO train and motor and all that jazz.

If you're the curious weather, could you give us some snow?

I once build up a living room layout out of lego trains
