Author Topic: Relationship Advice Megathread  (Read 7629 times)

Relationships are weird to me but everything that comes along with them (all the way down to just cuddling) are typical desires for me.

Does anyone else feel this way?

gaijin's kind of a huge tryhard, feel free to disregard everything he says for your own benefit
i dont see what the problem is with having lots of friends?

edit: ok i didnt see that part where he said he didnt like him so my b.

This isn't about me having a Relationship cause at the moment I don't but: Why do elementary schoolers start dating? I mean, 90% of them wont even hug one another. Is the title of Boyfriend and Girlfriend suppose to have impact on the two?

this is not a post about having a lot of friends, this is you "bragging" about love you shouldn't have and really probably didn't have

i think its healthy to maintain some sort of relationship with as many people as possible, i try to be cool with most everyone at my school, there are only a few people where we dont like each other. ive brought those kind of outsider kids into groups too, i would suggest trying that with your friend. i mean unless this kid is like really a richard to everyone (in which case idk why you hang out with him), it seems like the best idea. just talk to your other friends about him, bring him up, if they are dissing him just be all "aw cmon he's not that bad" and bring him with you when you go and talk to other people.
I actually do try to get other people to, at the least, tolerate him, but my praise always falls flat. :/
He's not really mean or anything, just super awkward, gets annoying quickly, and has a short temper. Occasionally he can be a really cool guy, but those times are the exception, not the rule.

i mean if you dont like him and he isnt that likable of a guy at all i would just not hang out with him anymore. i mean you dont have to be a richard to him or anything but you shouldnt let someone else force themselves ont- actually that sounds really weird but yeah you get it.

It's not that he forces me to hang out with him, I just really hated middle school because I had so few friends, and was generally picked on. I want him to have at least one person in high school who pretends to like him. I don't really know that there's a satisfying solution to this issue, other than get him a real friend, which I've failed at so far. Oh well. I'll keep trying.

I think the main issue is that it isn't really relevant to anything in the thread..?

That's pretty sweet of you, but if he seems like the kind of person who either a. doesn't want any close friends b. isn't really capable of having close friends, it probably isn't really worth it. Sorry, but sometimes there are just those people.

Chloroform is cruise control for love.

Basically a status symbol.

Not going to lie. I think my sides may be broken.
