Hey guys, so a few weeks ago I signed up for a few courses at my old college just to not have a huge gap in my educational portfolio.

Well, one of the courses I'm taking is advanced physics. I've been doin this work for like 3 hours now and this last problem is loving my brain so hard.

A 300 gram bird is flying at 5.6 meters/second and sees an insect that weighs 10g flying straight towards it at a speed of 26m/s. the bird opens its mouth and has a snack.

What is the birds speed immediately after swallowing?
