Author Topic: States are petitioning to leave the union. About 4 already met their goal.  (Read 13242 times)

Which of the 3 do you believe will occur?

By the way, we need a time frame.  Otherwise, I don't get any money.
all 3 will occur (but not on some day a dumbass says predicted). I believe states will secede first.

I'll give it 10 years.

Haha, okay.

One of them is physically impossible, one of them is biologically improbable, and the last is against current law.

Haha, okay.
:P

Jesus Hernandez will return to save us all, unbeliever.

fun fact: even if this was a state petition and everyone in the state agreed to it and they officially seceded, they couldn't support their own economy except maybe georgia and oregon, but even that is extremely unlikely.

Texas would totally sustain itself. :(

she looked at me like I had just punched a hole in the wall.
I have no idea what kind of look that is

how

its the only state that could. they have the income, the oil, their own food.

But eventually it will use up those resources, give it maybe 20-30 years and they'll exhaust those resources, not only that they'll have to spend money building a military, and I doubt anyone would want to become trade partners with them since they do not have much to offer besides oil, but they'll be using that as well.

Sell resources
Get money/bitches
???
Profit

Don't the states have small, individual militaries, already? Or at least something incredibly similar? Texas will have the biggest one, I'm sure, if they do.

they would be no different then any country. they can just trade for stuff.
they can sell food they grow. or just buy it with their own money.

this is the basics for how ANY country runs...

you seem to be under some assumption that the states need a huge federal government. they are supposed to be sovereign anyways.

Additionally, Texas produces a butt load of cotton, from what I've seen.
