Author Topic: Need free antivirus  (Read 1084 times)

I've been with a disabled firewall and just avira for nearly 4 years, no viruses

I don't think anyone seems to understand it's affecting my internet, and nothing directly within my computer. Right now my 30 day trial of AVG does not have internet security, I need one with internet security. The Avast! does not have internet security unless I buy it, same with Avira.

Is there a website to go to that will deal with this problem if there isn't a antivirus with internet security?

Microsoft Security Essentials & a single run of Malwarebytes.
Are you kidding me? MSE sucks i waiting for my dad to get me one i have been stuck with the securtiy sheild malware treing to get rid of that Fake anti virus that is a virus (i got it from mc mods when i treid to dl one it installed it self >.<)

and i kinda do trust malwarebytes to much

Anyways I am the first one to say norton? it's Really good on my old comp it got a trojan then we got the comp scanned Then that Stupid trojan was sent to DAIIIII.

But it will cost you some money.....

Norton = nope

Overpriced, when you could just get Kaspersky which delivers the equivalent at a cheaper price. I also think that Kaspersky gets more recent virus defs.

You probably clicked on one of those spoof download button ads. ALWAYS download your minecraft mods from minecraftforum.net, not anywhere else, because then you will be taking a risk for malware.

Comodo is a pretty good free antivirus and it has some excellent free working internet security, You might want to take a look at it, It also has plenty of other free products.

I think you should stick with Microsoft security essentials. so far it's worked pretty damn good.

I used to have it on my computer and it worked wonderfully, It's a good program to have as a primary defense against malware

Suggesting avast! because it doesn't slow down my old clunker.
not that "upgraded internet security"
you don't need anything more than free unless you're some total loving moron
in which case you should go buy norton like most morons do
I don't think anyone seems to understand it's affecting my internet
Call your ISP and say there's an "IP conflict" apparently and they'll change your IP
If it's from inbound or outbound web then avast! free should pick it up

norton

it's Really good

lmfao

not that "upgraded internet security"

but who needs that anyway? the free version works just as well

I'm going with Avast I guess.

Since my sister is a gullible richard who sometimes goes on my computer, I'm probably going to have to buy Kaspersky.

This is why I don't really feel comfortable with a free AV.

I'm not comfortable with it either, but I have to rely on it until after January.
