Author Topic: Cheap computer parts?  (Read 2614 times)

a 6570 is not a good card even for 2010 games and the corsair psu is somewhat overpriced for what it is without a sale

that card has almost 3 times the power of the 6570 and it fits the budget without the $30 MIR
plus you get a free game

too much power isn't good either.

Can I ask first off why you're in a rush to get new computer parts?
Why not save your money to get actual decent parts, rather than blowing money on parts that will have to be replaced in 2 - 3 years that you will get none of your investment back.

because it's my money.

too much power isn't good either.

because it's my money.

Okay, but why BLOW your money on low end parts that if you saved an extra few months you could get a bit more decent parts?
That just doesn't make sense.

it's better to have overhead than to not have enough
my computer has a 650W PSU in it and it only consumes 412W under load
and having that power will give you an advantage for when you upgrade more so you don't have to buy a new video card at the same time
because it's my money.
he's right though, you should
save up and buy a new computer

it's not like I want to make a super computer.

it's not like I want to make a super computer.

the stuff you have is stuff lol

it's not like I want to make a super computer.

You don't understand.

A medium-end computer in the year of 2012, costs around 700 - 800 US dollars.
A super-computer would be in the millions of dollars, just to let you know.

The parts your getting will be stuff, stop being hardheaded and listen, in a year or two your parts will already be outdated and probably less than recommended level on games, save your money and get higher end parts that you won't have to replace in a few years

G41T_AD

also, the socket this motherboard has...

it can hold intel core 2 duos.

i would say it would just be a better idea to build a whole new computer elecro.

the parts he picked are already outdated lol

do you really need a new case? because you probably could not get a case and have more money for parts if you arent willing to go higher

Did you maybe forget a 0 in the cash number
Because you cannot get decent parts for that
