I quit when I moved. Can't go 70 miles every Thursday.

I miss being in Boy Scouts. The pangs of turning 18 still annoy me today.

They're based on Christian morals, so anything that goes against those morals isn't accepted
no wonder I don't care for it lol

they allow for any religious views, so long as you don't believe in something out there like sacrificing a young virgin every thursday over a fire.

And you still have to apply the 12 points of the scout law and follow the oath.

i can just see it as semi-religious though, not like they perform mass and eucharist and all that jazz but like it's all part of their background and etc., not saying it's something wrong to do but it's just not my personal cup of tea.

They don't allow atheism.

The one I used to go to had meetings mainly in a church

Anyway, I can agree with most christian morals (probably because I was raised christian although I'm not anymore)

Unless the majority of the group is a single religion in which case they'll troll everyone else

They don't allow atheism.
Seriously?
Oh man, that's just hilarious

nor agnosticism. You'll be ridiculed out for being hindu or Buddhist, and you can forget trying to be in the boyscouts as a muslim.

I joined the scouts for a year or two just for the camping trips and it was pretty fun. I don't think I ever got past scout rank lol

who the hell wants to buy popcorn infront of a wallmart
if they got smart then they would sell hamburgers or donuts or something
the popcorn is actually fantastic

no.
reverence is supposed to be one of the tenants, and the only other mention of theism is "do my duty to god, country" etc. meaning you can be of just about any theistic faith and still qualify.

after selling the popcorn for eight years, once for $1600 in a year, this man speaks complete bullstuff.
