Author Topic: Can't spawn in single player  (Read 1482 times)

As the topic says, after an odd glitch with the terragen addon (which i have deleted), i suddenly lost my ability to spawn. Whenever i start a single player game, Bl forgets up and dosen't spawn me (the player). Yet i don't get this problem in multiplayer.

How to post your Console.log with Trace

Open blockland and press the ~ key, a console window should pop up

type trace(1); into the console and press enter, reproduce your error, then exit blockland

Make a post on Blockland Forum, and click Additional Options, then click the button labeled Choose File

Next locate where your blockland folder is and click the text document labeled console (or console.log), lastly click open

Type some text and click the Post button

I can see the ground, the camera appears to be in the 3rd person postion but i don't actually spawn...

are you loving kidding me, I'm not bashing him, I have all these guides saved in text documents, I just copy and paste them when I want someone to do something, I was trying to explain how to use trace, I could easily solve his problem in 2 posts, the explanation how, and what he can do to fix it, instead of randomly guessing what the problem may be, its most likely a faulty add-on, which I could pinpoint for him, I am actually helping him

Actually, it proabably was a faulty addon, Terragen. Thing is, i have deleted every trace of terragen from my blockland files.

then obviously, terragen was not the cause, please post your console with trace, if you do I will be able to easily help you


Never mind, i solved the problem by using the F8/F7 combo to spawn. In doing so, it seems to have fixed whatever was causing me not to spawn

Admins may lock now if needed, problem resolved

Problem really isn't resolved. I'm curious what the add-on was. Could you do what swollow said if you have time?
