I want to hear some ear candy, I know someone out there can compose..

Hm. I have never actually tried anything but electronic...

That's actually kind of sad

made this little thing when I was feeling pretty stuffty one night

edit: also, why are there "rules" saying we can't post anything that sounds like "techno," as you put it?

Probably because it isn't "composed" as much as it's just loops set up next to each other and repeated for three minutes.

I liked it, just the quality. Make more, haha.

You sicken me
I love all kinds of music and compose all kinds and electronic is good. Dubstep is one facet of electronic music. Dismissing such things is rather silly.
However, you did state that this is just for your personal liking, so I give up.

He's probably just tired of seeing all of the music on here being electronic.

ik, but there's plenty of other stuff. It just so happens that EDM is popular atm. I like a lot of electronic music that is far from the norm, in the same way that I like folk, jazz, rock, and occasionally other random stuff as long as it's well done.

Actual composition for last year's music theory/music history class. It's written in the various styles of the progression of Western music, from medieval to renaissance to baroque, classical, romantic, impressionist and then an early 20th century 12-tone piece and finally a modern bit.

Played here by Finale on the piano, I wrote it as a SATB choir piece, I ended up submitting it to a composing competition this year as a piece for a string quartet and it sounds seriously awesome like that. Wish I'd done a recording at some point, but ya.

Now I want to make a electronica/metal song to piss OP off. Dumbass rule is dumb.

dubstep and heavy metal at the same time would kill everyone, that's why it's illegal in 87 countries.
