As a person who gets easily addicted to pretty much everything addictive, I cannot stop biting my lips until skin comes off and I can't stop biting my nails. I also bite the skin around my nails. They look loving awful.

Now if I ever try to bite my nails, I curl my hand up in a fist and rest it under my chin.

biting on the skin around my nails.

I also do that.

Or get a rubber band and snap it on your wrist every time you catch yourself doing it.
