Mine can run every setting of S&S
But it basically stays at 5-10 fps for anything involving shadows
and 15fps for anything with shaders

I have one of the original MacBook Airs that get hot easily (hot enough to burn your lap?).

It lagged at about 10k bricks.

The GPU was an Intel GMA (from 2008), so it probably would not run shaders at all.

6GB RAM is good.
