Right what laptop can i get for christmas

christmas is round the corner and im getting a new laptop as people are telling me to get off my netbook (espacilly boink or what ever his name is) as its very bad. im looking for a windows 7 adm graphics card and probaly intel prossecer and im looking for one with alot of ram, i see some that cost £300 and im not sure what is good or not.

I dont have room for a pc but a laptop will do. tell me what laptop i should get

Let me give you a tip.
Laptops generally aren't the greatest for gaming. If you want to play games on a laptop, Alienware is the place to go, but Alienware costs double the amount of money than the equivalent desktop that you custom built.
Source: I had a computer built for me that would have cost £1500 to buy from Alienware that actually cost £800 to custom build.

laptops are fine. i used to use a old laptop which was xp and ran the sims good and also ran blockland well (i had the blockland demo at that time). im not really looking for a custom built one or it will cost abit to much

also i dont want windows 8 becuase that looks like stuff

You will never get a pre built machine without windows 8 coming default now. I'm sorry, Manufacturers are stupid and want the "latest" and "greatest". Until everyone and their loving mother realizes it's stuff and stops buying PCs (which will never happen because people are loving handicaps who buy the first thing they set eyes on), Windows 8 will be the factory default.

Unfortunately, Considering windows 8 is coming preinstalled, Now you might have to format the operating system and install the operating system from a disc or flashdrive.

Because laptops are not meant for gaming and you won't be able to get a good performance laptop, the best thing you can get is a Macbook. Anything else is just kind of mediocre.
