Author Topic: Unlimited - arguing about how his ship would in on a mini ship build  (Read 3057 times)

Very true. Hosts need to be pivotal in the roleplay, not smother it.

There isn't a right way to build anything. That's why you can't criticize anybody for their crappy or awesome builds. That's why arguments like these never get resolved.

Uh I disagree.

It is quite clear to separate efficient from inefficient brick usage, and comment on detail, color, shape, proportion and appropriate use of styles to comment on the overall skill or lack of skill someone has when constructing. :U

Irrelevant in a mini-empire server when it comes to war RP, perhaps.

I can interpret your penguin as an octopus. You can't 'correct' me and say definitely that this combination of blocks occupying a certain amount of space equates to a replication of a penguin.

Being efficient with blocks is different, it's just common sense. I'm not talking about performance here.

No see you are confusing subjective tastes, like patterns on walls and choices of doors, with practical skills such as efficient usage of bricks and being able to utilize bricks to show shape and spacial understanding.

If you build a house and you measure the wall wrong, that isn't "my penguin" to "your octopus". Thats universally bad.

The best Mini empire server i ever played on was Brad's, don't know if any of you guys can remember playing it, but it was good.

yeah that was just amazing. Couldn't you travel in that one? Damn.

You could build roads which allowed people in your empire to travel, imagine them all, traveling :D

Wasn't it about that? There was nothing about incorrect proportions mentioned here, just about pure aesthetics.

I beg to differ.

You are right in a way, but if you spam bricks or use incorrrect paints, that would be a crappy.

But sometimes, an argument about this can't be resolved since peoples' opinions are different.

"i only stole half of the money in the bank!"
Except when you copy someone's building style, you are not taking anything away from the owner, you are simply making a copy for yourself and the owner will remain unaffected. Please think before making awful comparisons next time.

I really don't think you understand what I mean, my post answers this post pretty clearly. :s

You could say his stupidity is "Unlimited"

I giggled

Even if it was a mini empires you could destroy his ship before the engines even got close......

I would join CityRPs if this was followed

Well that depends on what you consider efficiency to be.

Quality/brick count?

Or,

Size of entire build/brick count.
