So, i have this Jeff Gordon tire up in my attic.

It's the complete tire with a certificate of authenticity.
It was used in a race back in 1999 or 2003 i can't remember.

How much would this go for on ebay?

Depends on who would want to get it. If its an Earnhardt fan that you tried to sell it to you wouldn't get jack stuff. Go to a Jeff Gordan fan probably a pretty penny. You might get about $200 if you can talk him into it.

You'd make more off of it by melting the rubber down into bars and selling them as candy bars.

You don't know NASCAR do you? Its not easy to get a tire off a well known drivers car.

I know more about NASCAR than you could shake a stick at. I'm East Coast and I don't even need to pretend to know anything about it. Also the chocolate bars thing is a joke.

I actually like to watch it and learn about it.
Oh yea, I'm east as well, not coast but east. And south. I know that you don't just get your hands on a tire used in NASCAR. If you can find a store that sells used NASCAR tires than you would have me proven wrong.
