Author Topic: Requests for WWII(1940's) Vehicles.  (Read 5136 times)

Allied attempt to get Allied armor onto Normandy during D-Day. (These are more fun and odd, and to say "Hey, thats different," but aren't complete necessities, just really cool :0)

Google them, there are a few more for different tanks. Also, can you make the M-8 Armored Car? There is a German Equivalent to this/ the Jeep, only it can float.

The M-8 Light Armored Car.

That's a greyhound right?

So the normandy tanks are just variations of the Sherman..
I recall them now.

also if you guys want you can discuss The vehicles here.

Yep, Thats the Greyhound. At the local museum by me, they have an M-8 Greyhound and drive it up and down the road next to the museum sometimes for fundraisers. They have really cool Armored vehicles and planes.

Edit: Sorry, they use their M20 up and down the road, not the M-8 xD
Oh, They recently acquired a PBY Catalina from (I forgot where). It was so old and out of shape that they were lucky the wings didn't fly off of it when they brought it to the museum. Now its completely apart and is being fully restored :D

Armoured cars such as the SDK FZ 222 are hard to make because of the angles on them..

For instance look it up and compare it to my photo i posted earlier..

The greyhound should be fun.

I have some other ww2 vehicles I made before..

such as;

-universal carrier
-carrier of somesort(panther body)
-halftrack with AA
-british artillery tractor

Its pretty cool, keep up the good work Badger. If you need any help one day, let me know.

Alright,

 i'll be off now...

Make a Renault UE 57.
Or maybe a PzKpfw 38 (t)

The m8's were service before Dday. They originally designed as a tank destroyer, instead they made in a reconnaissance and convoy escort vehicle.

Here is that German equivalent with an autocannon.

Yup, I know. Im saying Hobart's Funnies were using during D-Day.

I would like something different I could really use an 88 flak without wheel as a deck gun on my U-boat
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/ff/Flak18-36.jpg/300px-Flak18-36.jpg

and maybe also a turret for use on battleships a big one with 4/4 guns and a small one with maybe 2

im more interested in arty than vehicles but lets face it a Kubelwagon would make sence seeing a jeep is already in blockland http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk173/Oberst_Klink/2609.jpg

That's the SDK FZ 222 I made that earlier if you look back...

It angles and accuracy are kindof messed up though.

Bump+ Some of these vehicles will be used in an upcoming project of mine.
