This wasn't that amphibious. It was a small tractor for towing howitzers and other artillery devices. After the war, it was still produced for agricultural purpose.
The main advantage of this thing was that it was light enough to be deployed from an aeroplane, also it was narrow enough to be used in the mountains or other places, where the path was too narrow for other vehicles.
