Here's the entire purge in my eyes:

"We gotta clean this shit up, all you guys are kicked out until you re-app" few weeks, maybe months, I wasn't keeping track, go by "Fuck we have like 3 members, how about we ditch the idea and just let the people we like and remember in."

Tell me that isn't the situation at hand here. I said from the beginning this was a dumb idea and not only was it a dumb idea but Randy didn't even have the balls to admit he messed up. AT LEAST half the members on the members list DIDN'T make a re-application build. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think ANYONE re-apped at all.

Mr.Smash re-apped. The purge was ill planned yeah, however it isn't like that the way you stated it.
Many ex-members have been discussing this every now and again on how to bring back MotE. The purge obviously took effect, and they brought back certain people who were contributing in bringing MotE back from the dead.

The purge, from what i know, was supposed to be during v9 but there must have been a miscommunication and that's how all this started in the first place.

If you still want to be in MotE, making an application should not be such a huge deal since this games basic idea is to build anyways rather than flaunt about servers and hanging out (not saying that is what you do).

Hope that cleared anything up, if not then I suppose you chat with Randy.

Yes, And if randy wanted the members "To actually build for the clan" Couldn't he have just opened a MotE dedi to make every member to build something epic so he'll know that they are still active in the clan? Purge wasn't the solution.

And can I just say, I think we should create the floorplan created by Vitruvius that is shown on his Wikipedia page for our next clan build.

There are enough rooms for us all to take one, with some left over.
Only problem is, some of his annotations are hard to read, and I'm not sure if this is an entire ground floor plan, or if the two staircase-looking objects are meant to link.

Your whole attitude has been very un-MotE'ish from the get-go, Bacon. You haven't shown any interest in making the clan work again, nor worked on a re-application. You just went "forget this." the second the purge was announced.

The clan is truly a shambles and Bacon has made a fair point.

For example, Ace applied days before the purge and got accepted - now they've just forgotten about him despite him being an awesome builder. Then they just let people back in on the basis that they "kinda like them" instead of on the entry requirements that everyone else needs to meet. Its just a kick in the nuts for people that can actually build better than some of your members.

You can't say we've forgotten him. Or anyone for that matter. We didn't just go through the list and go "He has a cool name, we'll have him!". It took over an hour to organise the list. In the case of Ace, a good percentage of time was spent on deciding what we'd do with him, but it came to the conclusion that he was too inactive. I'd like Ace to have stayed, and I'm right behind him with whatever he does now. He's one of the ones that I think should contact one of the recruiters with an application. He's definitely a special case.

Ace was warned well before the purge, and told to hold onto his application until further notice. I told him this on several occasions, but at the end he got impatient and posted it anyways. We've talked about this, and Ace doesn't hold any grudges as far as I'm aware. I can't blame him for leaving the scene for a while after that. In this particular case I wouldn't have any problem with him using his Golden Gate Bridge build to reapply, though. Would only be fair.

Agreed, this is a bit of a mess, but it's probably the best overall solution for a shock-start of the clan.
