Just wanted your opinion on a new terrain style i was experimenting with. It uses a 64x zonebrick with floating 4x4 cubes.

I did this once, except with water and 64x cubes.

looks good actually

Not bad, but the trees are kinda ugly.

Very blocky and fits with the game. It's really good.

This should have been done long ago. I want to see large-scale TDMs using this style now.

on it

hi

I like this style because it emulates rough terrain which we normally dont travel on in real life but I feel that it would be best combined with smoother flat terrain as to suggest paths, if done on a large scale.

Also, you should try mixing 4 and 8 cubes, instead of just one.

Well put on the 8 and 4 blocks, no use for trails considering it was only an experiment.
I also agree with the smaller slopes, steep is good in some spots though

Interesting, but not exactly the best choice personally.

how's it perform with vehicles?

as long as it's not too rough, very well

i made a terrain generator that uses this style and driving around on it worked fine

It looks good and it doesn't have tons of bricks, which is awesome for people with crappy computers
