Welp, I now know what that rock outside in my yard is.

When I moved in I noticed there was a cut rock in my yard, I always thought it was a random smoothed rock in my yard but actually its a tombstone and someone was buried there before we moved in.

I was wondering why people kept saying my place was haunted.
I'll get a pic when I can, its to bright outside atm.

The only pet is buried by the fence, there is a wooden cross in that spot. This is a fullblown tombstone with some ingraved writing on it, hard to see but you can feel it.

so why would a ghost only haunt a house? they are trapped within the walls? if a killed person = ghost, then every square mile of the earth is technically "haunted".
and based on what exactly? because all this ghost lore comes from fiction from the late 1700s.
