I looked at the Terrain Experiment (http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=214504.msg6076343#msg6076343)
And figured I'd try my luck at this, It's pretty simple, all one color, and has a variety of hills + flats and some cliffs, and a river. Mainly used for a TDM or explore or something, whatever you want.

a. It's the same color so you can easily edit it however you like
b. It needs Zone bricks in order to work, seeing as that's how I got the terrain to be suspended.
c. The water level is default, so just adding water should do the trick, color of water / type is your choice.
d. the boundary can be demolished to have the terrain added onto if you please.
e. Everything is 8x and grid locked. The river bed is 4x (only way I could make things work correctly)
f.  There isn't any trees or such so that you may add that in if desired.
g. It's 3441 bricks.
h. It's not very vehicle friendly.

With this I present to you.

And the download for you to have.
Please give credit where credit is due at the least, and I'll be happy.

i see the makings of an amazing fad here.

I quite hope it'll be "Amazing"
Modular bricks had it's spotlight for the longest amount of time, let's see some new variety come up.

modular bricks never really took off in terns of build quality.

This doesn't look bad but the severe lack of trees (or paths, instead) detracts from the quality. Also I think it would have been better without the cube borders you gave it.

Basic building looks nice and smoothly changing compared to the terrain experiment.

I left it blank for others, this is more of a baseplate for other people who lack the building skills to have a somewhat decent terrain to play off of.

I will probably make something similar to this, but with a bit more detail (using 4x4 instead of 8x8) and Ill add paths and trees like Conan said. This is a simple, yet relatively detailed way of doing terrain.

Exactly. This is great man, please build and release more, for people like me, who can't build :/.

Great clean slate/ template for people to use! Nice idea, and Nice build.

I now have an area of 12 64s of really smooth, almost all easily driveable terrain, with a road going across it. If anyone ever wants it, tell me.

This, though, looks really nice. I like it a lot.

i am trying to make some terrain like this as we speak.

I find it unappealing.

It would had been an awesome idea if it was vehicle friendly. But it's not.

I tried it with vehicles.
hahahah fat chance.
BUT the map can be used for zombies, TDM's, Role Plays, sometimes vehicles can't always be the aspect.
Now, if you really intend vehicles into the map, you can edit the terrain, just delete the bricks you want to change and replant 8x cubes, that simple.

Nice! Glad to see people are using this :D
It's easy to make it vehicle friendly using 4x4's i think, you just need a path. I'm going to make something like this later. This style should maybe be called "zonescape".

zonescape does sound rather nice.
