YOU can not change Plant, because he is bound to God. He is enlightened, so he abides by strict beliefs for christianity.

Christianity after enlightenment is almost permanent. You can not easily change Plant's religion.

May I step in for a moment here and say that Christianity pretty says that God wants you to be tolerant of other people? I mean the bible itself says that you should "treat others as you would want to be treated" and to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Leviticus 19:18) Therefore this doesn't seem like abiding by the strict beliefs for Christianity, as you have put it, but being a giant bigot. If somebody were to abide by the beliefs of Christianity, I think that they shouldn't cut off friendships with others because they're biloveual, homoloveual, or transgender. Because if you are, you're being a richard, not a good Christian.
