Author Topic: more terrain of that "new" terrain style  (Read 3591 times)

Yay my build is in the background.

This is gonna take alot of zone bricks to make any sort of large scaled rpg or anything...
This is sort of the thing i suggested here. This terrain is basically like the old actual terrain. The floating saves people from having to make a ton of support bricks, but removes the ability to add in zonebricks, as zonebricks are used to hold it up. If this was officially supported, it could loop AND support zonebricks.

Another issue with zone bricks is that you cannot place water inside of them, and if you end up being able to (by using custom water bricks that are all glitchy) they will not function as water but just a brick that you fall through.

Technically it is, if it is a giant wooden box with windows and a sloped roof. even a homeless person's box is a house if he was idiotic enough to give his $5 for pizza to a landlord for a house on a 5x5 ft lot. If it gives you shelter from immediate contact with any natural disasters, then yea, its a house.

What a terrible rebuttal
Even if what you said made sense in any way whatsoever, it relates to nothing. We're talking about the use of the word "style", which you used incorrectly. This was clearly proven by end, the definition of style being "a manner of doing something". This is a pretty much universally accepted definition
Save what's left of your haughty pride and leave the thread before you make yourself look even dumber

Somehow, I don't like this terrain style... :/

I prefer when people use 4x4 instead of 8x8, it adds more detail.

I dont like the look of it to be honest

The zombie dm was a blast on this lol

What i like about this is that it is quick, easy, and its brick count is low. I did 2 64x64 plates using this in 30 minutes rather than about an hour.

i was there for a bit
khain made a cave inside the mountain idk if it's still there

i can go on forever on how much cooler my terrain is.

that looks like something out of a scifi movie

Brian, is that your terrain generator thing?
