Correct, but it should still be on an option, especially considering it's the most commonly chose option on this community.
You can't simply eliminate the most popular option on a poll.
The best solution is to reword the question so that it's not implying that atheism is a religion, such as "What are your religious views"
I did edit it so it made you happy.  :cookieMonster:

Why is Agnostic not a choice?

Why is Agnostic not a choice?
Because most people qualify as agnostic.

Why is Agnostic not a choice?
Out of curiosity because I've only gotten answers from a few people to this:
What exactly do you mean when you say you're agnostic?

...I guess I have my own religion. It's called having faith?

Ooh, I can answer that for me! I think there's probably no higher being, but I don't really know (or care) for sure.

EDIT: I guess an agnostic theist would think there probably is a higher being, but doesn't feel perfectly confident about it.

It means they don't feel too strongly one way or an other, like luke warm tea or rice pudding.

Tyler came the closest to what I'm trying to say
My point is that agnosticism is a different thing than theism/atheism; by itself it's not a religious stance, it's something that you combine with theism/atheism to get a complete answer.
So I'm asking someone who calls themselves just an agnostic, without combining with one of the other terms, what they mean

This and other answers similar to "I don't know if I believe" is the best answer I've heard, but I still don't understand it because to me such an answer implies doubt/skepticism and doubt/skepticism towards the existence of a god is atheism.

True

I'm actually really into science even though i'm a catholic.

Why did you come into the thread if your only intention was to post about how you are leaving it?
If you even read anything in the thread you'd see there are no arguments at all
