Pop Isn't EDM (rant)

Something that has really bothered me is listening to several EDM radio channels. Several of the songs you hear today are these cheesy pop songs, that aren't nearly exciting to listen to. A lot of these songs include vocals, and boring ass drops. My point is, these channels need to include more exciting music, and not these stupid loving pop songs.

Also, many famous pop artists are using these EDM tunes in there songs. It's loving stupid.

Finally, I'm not trying to say that I wish EDM wasn't so recognized. It's a great thing. But don't make it have an impression of what you'll hear normally on a radio show.

Anyone agree? Thoughts?

You're 17. You don't get to say, "these kids."

Not to mention, EDM isn't all about the drop. Really, only friends listen to EDM for a drop. Yeah, a drop is the climax of a song, but not all EDM has drops nor do drops have to be the main focus of the song.
