Author Topic: "Guard the zones" Should I try this?  (Read 1011 times)

Kind of like "boss battles"
There are Five capture points around the map. the boss has to cap them.
The normals have to prevent the "boss" from capping all five points.

Stuff may list more.
Normals have unlimited lives
The boss has one
Tier+Tactical (with some TF2 stuff)
NO ONE HIT DEATHS

basically a boss siege?
that'd be interesting i guess provided the boss was an actual boss and not the same generic bullstuff from pecon's

Problem is I don't know how to make addons.

I think it would be better if you thought of the "Boss" more as a player, and everyone else as the enemies they have to get through to win. One hit kills might be viable if used against people who have unlimited lives. Perhaps you could get someone to make you some output events to change a team's respawn time, so you could decrease it with each point capped and make the game progressively more hectic. Just throwing ideas out, here, but you should totally try it.

what a coinkidink that i'm making melee playertypes that would probably serve the purpose well
sure does stink that i'm slow as balls at add-on making though

Uub
