This does not mean they found life.

NASA's Curiosity rover may have found a precursor to life on Mars, the director of the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said Wednesday. "Perhaps Curiosity has found simple organic molecules," Charles Elachi said at the fringes of a conference at Rome's La Sapienza University. "It's preliminary data that must be checked (on) organic, not biological, molecules".

Again, this does not mean there's life on Mars. This means the organic compounds necessary for carbon-based life exist on planets other than Earth, which is pretty cool imo. There's going to be an official announcement from NASA on December 3rd.

Are we gonna be invaded?

Everywhere, molecules, it has begun, THEY'RE ALL OVER ME!

Probably cause they didn't want the media sensationalizing the forget out of it before giving an official statement.

omg guys we should colonize mars now!!!! :DDD

But a rover found dead bacteria on mars years ago. Isn't that good enough?

Not on Mars, no. You're probably thinking of the fossilized bacteria found in a meteor in Antarctica that appeared to be from Mars.

About loving time this stuff happens.

Cool. Time to sit back and let the extreme creationists spew bullcrap.
