Author Topic: Future Pistol joints - 102 VIEWS, NO REPLY!  (Read 3056 times)

I made a Future Pistol. It is unfinished, but it should work. Like my terrible ridiculous gun that looks like a cat and shoots cats, it didn't appear in the item list when I try to spawn it from a brick
Please fix it :c

Fixed. But another problem comes up!

I am really screwing up with joints on my model, help!

You want replies?
Okay, I replied. But I don't know how to help.
Happy?

I'm just mad nobody is actually helping me :(

I sent you a PM, I can't do much with the model file because i dont use MS3D.

You have the joints connected.

This is wrong. What you do is delete the joints, and make them seperate. Place a joint, select nothing (because it auto selects when you place), then place another joint. You rotated the mountPoint so that it tilts down.

Like Uxie said, you have messed up some joints...
(i am assuming you are using MS3d)

1. make sure the gun is pointing tward the purple axis.
2. add a joint on the handle (a joint is the size of the space between the blockheads fingers, for resizing purposes)
3. click the select tool and click off of your model so the joint is unselected.
4. click the barrel of your gun and create a joint on it.
5. rename your joints, the one on the handle is "mountPoint" and the one on the barrel is "muzzlePoint"
for#5 go to the joints tab/menu thing.

Hope this helped!, if not, I don't think its the joints that's the problem.

Reformatted my iMac, Windows 7 is gone, Milkshape 3D is only compatible with Windows. Daaamn. Now somebody else needs to fix it.
