will the fowllowing games work on windows 8

I dont know weather im getting windows 8 or windows 7. I really want 7 but if i get 8 i want to know if these games work on it:

blockland (im not sure if it works on windows 8)
garrys mod
counter strike soruce
minecraft (this might work)
the sims 3

Dependant on what brand, if it's an Intel graphics controller, you can expect around 30MB or so. If it's an NVIDIA or AMD driver, about 130MB at most.
