No, that's on more complex a level than I was talking.

The very reason the thing exists at all is for humans to reproduce. That's it.

On the most basic level, in the least complex form, that's all it is. love.

Because of the nature of how humans work, however, it becomes more complex when you throw emotion and logic into it. Passion, interaction, etc.

Rather wasteful use of resources, really, but it's how it works and anyone who isn't aloveual has to live with it.

OP, if there are some restaurants in walking distance ask her if she wants to go get a bite to eat. I used to do that as a freshman because there was a zaxbies, orange leaf, starbucks, moe's, ect. really close to the campus. If not ask her if she wants to go to a movie. Remember to set it up so that both parents drop you two off, as riding with either of your parents will be awkward and basically kill the mood.
