Game

Classic Knife TDM is a game where you only get one life and you have to jump on floating platforms, trying not to fall down to the floor that kills you. You get a knife to stab blockheads coming your way. The more you play, the higher your level will be. I host this classic knife TDM, because Cat123 already has a grapple knife TDM, and I felt like there needed to be another 24/7 server that hosted classic. With scripters ready, the server has unique, flashy features, such as, custom welcome messages, depending on your status, (Admin, Super Admin, Moderator, or just a regular player.) A custom server pack that isn't Munk's horrid lag pack. Many commands are available to players and admins. Such as, for players, setting a custom clan tag, checking your ping, and more to come. Admins, get many more commands, to make the game more fun, more enjoyable, and a fair game. Commands including respawning, setting score, forcekilling, checking someone else's ping, and many others.

Rules

My rules are strictly enforced by myself and admins, and to keep playing on my server, you must follow them or face the consequences

• No spamming
• No asking for mod (apply on this topic)
• No asking for admin
• Trolling is allowed, but to a certain extent. If an admin or mod tells you to stop, you STOP
• No constant and/or unnecessary vulgarity. Meaning, if you are yelling "stuffforgetstuffforgetstufffo rgetstuffforgetforgetforgetfo rgetforgetforgetforgetforgetf orget" and a mod or an admin tell you to stop, you STOP
• No hackusations, meaning, no accusing people of hacking. It's annoying as hell.
• Do not circumvent your bans, meaning, using alts, friend's account, etc.
• Do not hold up the game, such as hanging or not killing each other
• Respect admins and mods, for they have authority over you
• This is the most annoying thing on my server, and that is ASKING FOR GRAPPLE

Moderator

In order to apply for moderator, you must have these minimal requirements

• Must have played on the server for atleast 2 weeks (When applying, say how long you have played
• Moderating/Administrating experience (If so, tell me the servers you are moderator/admin on)
• Why should I make you a moderator? (Atleast 3 reasons)
• Who recommends you? (List the people who recommend you)

Applications that are flawed, unimpressive, or just plain stupid, will not be accepted. Moderator applications are strict. Be truthful about your application. All of the information that you list will be checked and clarified. To prevent bad applications, I have made a template for you to use when applying for moderator.

Trolling isn't that serious of a problem, especially because most people can't troll very well, but if it gets out of hand, rules will be enforced.

I did. There's nothing unique about this. If this was unique, the build would be entirely different.

In fact, knife TDMs themselves simply aren't unique. They're one of the most common servers. And why wouldn't you want questions about constructive criticism? If you want to host something you have to be prepared to be criticized.

Host something else. Or, at the very least, don't use another "floating platforms" setup for a knife DM.

How about a small cityscape, like a portion of Afghan DM? Or something with zone bricks, and ideally not floating in the air.

An idea would be to make a low-gravity zone DM with blocks inside, and a "jumper" rocket launcher to allow you to bounce off of walls and blocks in the space.

Good idea, I will host different maps and stuff later on, I am still just sort of testing the server.

But almost none of them are hosted normally, Cat's is the only one that survives, but we needed a classic server, and mine is 24/7, unlike most knife TDMs.
