Author Topic: I'm a sad fellow.  (Read 1845 times)

I lent out my new strat (guitar) to a friend for a mere 5 minutes. However, I didn't notice that the jacket he was wearing had zippers facing outwards. After playing it for a few minutes he gave it back and this happened.

I can probably take it to a GC Repair center and get it fixed, but it's a pain in the ass.

Lessons:

Don't let freinds use expensive things

Satin finishes are more fragile than glass

if you value your guitar more than your friends then you have problems

if you value your guitar more than your friends then you have problems
When did I say that?

I just said I wouldn't lend it to people?

I'm not pissed at him, it was an honest mistake.

By that logic if i went out and bought a $30000 collectable guitar, then gave it to my best friend who scratched the forget out of it, I should be ok with that.

Uub

The same happened to me when l allowed my friend to borrow my psp

It had this distracting scratch on the screen ever since

I'm not ok with it? I just know it was a mistake on his and my part, and can be fixed by me not letting people use it.

I said I wasn't going to lend out that specific object of mine, not everything I've ever owned.
