You always have to be right, even when your wrong. You always criticize people and tell him how they did something wrong, even when they are right. I haven't been watching around this part of the forums but I remember you did it to Danny Boy a few weeks ago with his custom resolution, and I remember way back you did it to multiple others. Just screw off man.
Zone bricks never caused any problems for me over the years so why am I not allowed to say that they don't cause lag?

Are we still able to get files from ny02?
EDIT: Or at least a backup from a week ago?

Zone bricks--or maybe Zone events, I don't remember--have been having some issues since some update. It was either v21 or post-v21, but it causes massive console spam. Supposedly the triggers stick around after zone bricks are removed, which seems to cause multiple issues. I've never experienced lag myself though.

got the email

holy stuff nice

I tested this, there is in fact some issue with zone bricks that causes the zones to not be deleted, anything that goes into them causes console spam every tick, and most likely causes lag

also I feel like it's been 48 hours?

We're having a little issue with NY05 at the moment, we'll get onto migrations as soon as possible.

thanks!
another question, am I allowed to use some code from the rtbHosting scripts in one of my add-ons? if so should I credit someone and who?

Yeah you're free to use any of the code there, if you want to credit "RTB Dedicated Hosting" that'd be fine too.

Service Update

Hi guys, got a couple of small updates for you today. First up I'm glad to announce we now accept Google Wallet as a payment method. You'll find this on the modal window when you go to buy or renew a server. We know this has been quite a hotly demanded feature given the various issues people have with PayPal so we hope this allows more people to enjoy the RTB Experience.

In addition to this I've rolled out an improvement to the brick auto-saver to allow you to change the way ownership is saved. By default, Blockland will make it so bricks higher up will inherit ownership from those below. You now have the option to save using this method or save ownership for each brick individually. Note that the latter will increase your save file sizes but it should be neglibile when compressed. You'll find this new option in the "Configuration" part of your server panel. Also note you will need to shut down and start your server for this to take effect (a reboot won't be enough).

Thanks, enjoy the features and please let us know about any issues you experience - particularly with billing. We made some fairly sweeping changes to how billing is processed in our system so if you notice anything odd please let us know immediately.

Service Update

So today we're releasing a couple new features. The first and main feature being the ability to see your RTB add-on versions in the Add-On list and also update them from RTB at the click of a button if necessary. Take a look below:

We think this is a really great step towards the panel having much tighter integration with your server and is only the start of things to come with regards to effectively managing the add-ons on your server. There's also an Update All button if you don't want to go through the list and pick out updates yourself.

The next feature is the community-requested ability to reset your server back to it's default state when it was deployed. This will wipe everything from autosaves to console and chat logs to settings, config and add-ons. The feature is restricted to those with 'full' access to the server. We've also combined the console and chat log pages into a single 'Server Logs' page just to save space on the menu as it's getting a bit big with all this new functionality.

I'd like to take the chance to thank our customers for their valuable input via the Feedback tab on the left of the page. It's been very helpful to us, allowing us to have great visibility over what our customers feel is important to them and taking that into consideration when determining our workload - so thanks very much to you guys!

As ever, please do let us know if anything seems to be not working right or you have any questions. You can ask either in the thread or just raise a support ticket via the panel.

oh boy! im lovin it.

Thanks guys! As part of this tighter integration into the main RTB service, we're also looking to include direct RTB to server downloads, more on that soon.

so did mitigation like already happen for the rest of the servers or is that still on hold?
