Hmm, played around and inspected with the server  control panel. Apparently this server has really good reviews and works pretty well aka good performance and an easy to access control panel. Prices seem good too, but I'm not sure if I should get this. Seems good for my mini empires, looking forward to host it on RTB hosting service. Is there anything else I should know about the hosting service? I'm not sure how to upload add-ons, but will that be easier to do once you get the server yourself, because it's restricted on the demo. I would like to know some more feedback on the server and some more customer reviews.

Also, is there a good customer service via if I have any questions, would they be answered concisely and with detail? HamHost had terrible customer service and I hope that would change with this.

I'm not sure how to upload add-ons, but will that be easier to do once you get the server yourself, because it's restricted on the demo.

You simply drag and drop files from your computer onto the addons page or upload them via FTP. If you're uploading a lot of addons at once, it's better to use FTP.

There are plenty of customer reviews throughout this thread but we've also consistently had 70+ customers every month in the 10-11 months we've been operating - I think that speaks volumes!

The majority of service issues are solved within a few hours of a ticket being created.

There are two ways to upload add-ons. The easy way is to use the add-ons menu in the manager - just click a button and it'll open a choose file box that you can use to browse your computer and find the file, or you can just drag the file onto the web browser with the add-ons page open and it will understand that just as well. The other way is FTP access, where you use another program to connect to your server and have more direct control over all the files. The service provides full instructions for this, but for simple things you normally won't need it.

As for customer service, there's a support ticket system in place for technical issues, dunno if that's the ideal place for general questions, though. If not, this thread is pretty active. You're usually on your own if your add-ons break something, but that's kinda the case in general on Blockland.

I doubt there will ever be a sale as we run tight margins as it is but we'll almost certainly be generous at Christmas time!

I doubt West Coast servers will ever happen; there won't be enough demand to fund a server matching the quality of our New York nodes and Ephi and I don't really have time to further explore the possibility anyway.
