Author Topic: I just noticed something about today's cartoons  (Read 746 times)

I need to appreciate them more than I currently do. Sounds cheesy, but heres an example. Back when Flapjack originally aired, I liked it, but I treated it like it'd run for 10 years. When it got cancelled, I really missed it. Currently, Adventure Time is running and I treat it like I did for Flapjack. When and if Adventure Time gets cancelled, I'll miss it a lot. Does anyone else feel this way?

if anything you like gets cancelled you'll miss it

that's not a reaction exclusive to cartoons

I've noticed more and more cartoons have turned to the side of random humor, which is all well and good but when EVERY show is like that I really can't watch those cartoons anymore. Those include like Chowder, Adventure Time, etc.

Infact the only cartoons I watch anymore seem to be Futurama and The Simpsons, lol.

I agree with OP, I miss Foster's. I almost felt like that way when ICarly ended(noticed how I said almost, and yes I know it isn't a cartoon.)

I love adventure time so much.  I really hope it doesn't get cancelled :c

My generation of cartoons were the best. Like '95-'04.

Adventure Time is the best cartoon ever made.
Since 2005

well no cartoon should have more then like 6-8 seasons anyway.

I wonder what happens when My little pony is discontinued/cancelled

My generation of cartoons was like 01-09.
Mhebbshh it kinda sucked

flapjack ended because 2 important people who made it went off to do their own seperate shows
those 2 shows are regular show and adventure time
