both terrains are fine but nothing to gawk at.

first one, the sharp increase in angle in that corner should have been colored grey, as slopes that high rarely have grass fully covering it.

second picture with road plates is interesting; it would look good if the road plates weren't green on the sides. cheap method to mix terrain and roads together; ideally should stick with Dillpickle's methods.
oooh i was mentioned i feel loved.
ONTOPIC: Looks nice, I like the water and your gradual sloping up before a high spike. The roads actually startled me, I thought you built them out of bricks instead of the road plates.

lolwhat

you've been stuck on your computer too much, looking at brick terrain people make without emulating a real slope
+ those "medieval" houses are way too fancy for generic homes of that age, just another thing people build incorrectly but the community goes with it

The slope in the build is much steeper than that picture.

where's the slope

in the picture i'm talking about the really sharp part where it goes straight up, with that one brick. the rest of the grass is k

i'm pretty sure that whole thing is a slope
30°-45° or so i'd estimate
and i don't see any sharp rises in his build

ok i'm blind it isn't that sharp in retrospect

carry on; it just looks sharp due to the lack of surrounding terrain to shape it more.

wait
doesn't this method use zonebricks
how water

that reminds me; we need non-zone water bricks sometime.

probably he positioned the zones carefully so the water doesn't overlap them.

I just put water bricks first, then zones on top.

Thanks Conan I'll keep your ideas in mind.
