Author Topic: This is Aperture.  (Read 2855 times)

Last night I was watching Modern Marvels, when they started talking about the Hutchinson Salt Mine.
Apparently it is a huge deposit of salt that has been mined out and is being used as storage, All located under some corn fields.

But...

I remember hearing somewhere that Cave built Aperture in an old abandoned salt mine.
And At the end of Portal 2, instead of corn, the outside is wheat?

Discuss.

I don't understand what point you are trying to make

Could Aperture have been based from this location?

Im sure you mean based.

I've been in the Hutchison mine, it was really cool
They also store a bunch of movie props like from men in black and iron man

I was expecting that video by Harry101UK :(

I also have opinions on the GLaDOS/Prometheus/Caroline but that will made a thread soon

Portal and its sequel both take place at the Aperture Science Enrichment Center in upper Michigan. It has at least one other facility in Cleveland. Chell never leaves the Enrichment Center until the end of Portal 2.
