Author Topic: so my phone is crazy, anyone else had this happen?  (Read 1064 times)

yeah
i have an iphone(it's a really old one so shut up), and a few weeks ago i was using it, with the headphones in, and i heard someone talking
and i'm not saying it was just something that sounded like a voice, it was actually someone talking i'm 99.9% sure
it sounded like a voice message you'd leave someone, i couldn't figure out all the words but there was something about a birthday and a radio idek
so basically this REALLY FREAKED ME OUT because it was night, it was completely silent, and no one else was in the room, so i just sat there panicking for a few minutes before going back to what i was doing
then a while later it happened again but i nope'd and ripped the headphones off and just gave up

to sum it up: there was weird voices coming from my phone headphones and i'm confused, and i want to know why this is and if anyone else has had it
there's probably going to be 60 billion people saying "OMG GHOSTS" and just no
don't
if you're not going to make a serious response don't bother

Just upgrade your phone. The iphone 4 is free with a contract now

Could there be a conflict between some sort of voice transmitter (etc. phone, radio phone) and your headphones?

A big amount of headphones has a radio transmitter used in listening to the radio, maybe someone has used a radio phone with a unknown channel while your headphones' transmitter taken the signal?

your parents are broadcasting them to make you go insane

don't give them their pleasure

unshieled cable on your headphones or something.

maybe you've been on your phone at night for too long...??

That's actually really creepy. Maybe it was voice control or some video you left playing or something? or it could be iTunes, I don't know if it does this to iPhones but on my moms mac you can listen to the radio on it.
