Author Topic: Squideey's Better Brick Textures  (Read 6410 times)

The reason why I'm posting this I noticed that Squideey took down his textures which I kind of liked. So incase you want it and you didn't save it somewhere, I have the download here.

I did NOT make this, Squideey did.

I also didn't change anything

Those are useless
They are useful for people who cannot run shaders and  have user content alpha or some other method for overwriting the defaults.

All you have to do is Rigjt Click > Properties > Read-Only   DONE

Why do people keep coming up with this uca garbage
Also yes, they do work with shaders.

All you have to do is Rigjt Click > Properties > Read-Only   DONE
If you actually enjoy playing the game and watching it progress, Why would you give users instructions on how to break the game?

Because it doesn't break the loving game

Badspot's considering making the game not work for people who set brick textures to read-only.

That's a great idea, Then we won't have to worry about users like blocki telling users to modify the game in a way that isn't recommended.

My first set of textures were a temporary fix which caused a load of ugly errors. The second one was just awful to begin with. Using shader-quality higher than "none" removes the problems that the textures were originally designed to solve, specifically the fact that they weren't affected by lighting.

I can't report but you know you can be banned for this right?

That's the worst loving thing to do.

I don't see the problem with User-Content Alpha, other than it takes some time where if a person really wanted the textures he would take the time to do it the correct way.
