I suffer.

Heck, I have to start a website that is due on Friday.

Meh, it can wait at 10:00 pm on Thursdays.

:(

So its nearing winter break, the time were my classes end for a month and everyone rushes to finish work they owe. In one of my emergency services classes my professor assigned a reserach paper 2 months ago. It is now due tomorrow and I just started it 2 days ago.

My class is not until 6:00 PM so I plan on finishing everything tomorrow. I will be getting done literally right before its due.

I have a long history of procrastination but oddly enough it actually seems to help me. It pushes me to actually get the assignment done and I always seem to do well on things I do last minute.

So forums, who else suffers from extreme procrastination?

OP you have had that same avatar ever since you posted on my first topic under the screenname Toonlink101. God i was a loving tard back then.

Hi, my names Destroyer,
AND THIS IS JACKASS

OT: I procrastinate sooooo much.

I leave week long homework for the last day before it's due, it stresses me out so I really gotta try and stop lol. Things that are like 2 weeks long or more I do it in the middle of the time period, because I wouldn't be able to do it in one day.

also, *name's :3

I actually forgot to reply to this topic, damn procrastination. Anyway, I managed to finish the project about an hour before my class started lol. So all ended well. Procrastination wins again.

This is also the case, though I have started studying for one class after getting a 40-something on one of the major exams for it. Never spent ten consecutive minutes studying for anything in high school.
Exactly! Same here. If I study I normally will just forget whatever I studied or be too distracted to actually pay attention to what I'm reading. I believe the most I've done was quickly read over notes minutes before the test lol.

I have an lot of self discipline so I start and finish any work ASAP.
Damn, some serious respect for you then. That's good though, you never need to worry about missing stuff rushing to finish last minute.

Btw, Pro-tip: In this context, with numbers come power. Unite all of your classmates and don't do assignments. Make sure all the goody-two-shoes are told to shut-up, spread the word, make some evidence, have a plan of attack. Use the (academically) successful no-life students sparingly to convince teachers as well.
Good plan, I actually believe my class did something like this when I was in highschool. The essay portion of a test he gave was ridiculous and he put stuff on it the he told us not to study for. So before class started we all decided if this stuff was on the test, none of us would do it. It was and nobody did the essays. The teacher eventually cut out the essay portion so we won.

Unfortunately this won't work to well in college. Teachers there are more like "You're paying for this, if you fail it's your problem."

I get things done early so I have more time to myself with no worries.
That's what I hate about procrastination, some assignments I constantly worry about until they are done.

Haha yes, I love my avatar. People have come to know me by it now. I was thinking of changing it but then I figured its become part of my forum account, it stays.

Devoted entire day to Physics studying. Currently sitting here with the book on my lap that I haven't looked at in ten minutes.

Semester-size assignment the day after tomorrow, haven't started yet :s
Haha, I broke my arm and this assignment is impossible without 2 arms! Had I not procrastinated I would have done it for nothing! Thanks procrastination c:

Essay on the holocaust due tomorrow, still not doing it.

If you get it done sooner than later, you'll come to find you actually have more free time than when not getting it done.

it takes skill to procrastinate because you take what people do over weeks or months and mash it all into a few hours.

i am currently supposed to be studying for midterms

im not by the way
