With your anger towards other drivers, I wouldn't be too surprised if you tried to slam into somebody on purpose.
This post is idiotic. If somebody blatantly did that to me I would be pretty pissed. That driver's stupidity is endangering my life and the lives of my passengers by doing something blatantly illegal. I can understand if its a simple mistake, be he swerved in the oncoming lane into the path of a turning car.
There no excuse for that.
The person in the truck is probably liable. You are technically supposed to hit animals/objects, because if you swerve or stop suddenly to avoid them you are responsible for accidents you cause.
Actually it would be the rear drivers fault, at least in my state, I'm not sure if its different where you live. Where I live the rear driver is always at fault, no exceptions. It is believed the person behind should always have control over their vehicle despite what the driver ahead does. If the driver in front slams the brakes and the driver in the back hits them, it will be assumed the rear driver did not have proper control over their vehicle and it will be deemed their fault.
That doesn't loving change anything. Have you even looked into getting a drivers license at all?
Have you? Insurance will not charge you if you get into an accident that was the other drivers fault. Put Alyx in the position of Jeep. If a car would attempt to use the opposite lane to pass him, and Alyx would hit him as a result, the other driver would be charged because he did an illegal driving maneuver. Alyx would not be charged by insurance because another driver did something stupid and got himself hit.
If an accident is another drivers fault, your insurance doesn't charge you.
